Coop got new SAP-operational supplier in less than 4 months 

Peak put together a team of 3 sourcing consultants, who used an iterative and dialogue-based form of tendering. This meant, that the different requirements and criteria were adjusted along the way, as they were balanced by the chosen suppliers. First and foremost, a market dialogue was initiated. Here, the potential suppliers were given the opportunity to present their competencies within the scope of the tender. Afterwards, the presentations were evaluated on requirements and quality. The actual market dialogue offered information for the subsequent development of the detailed requirements, and from these three different suppliers were chosen. 

After having received three different tenders, a number of workshops were conducted with each of the three tenderers. Here, focus was given to technical solution content, IT-operation, terms of contract and prices, while relevant corrections and additions were made.   

Concretely, Peak delivered the following deliverables: 

• Clarification of strategic criteria for choosing suppliers.  
• Requirement gathering and prioritization.  
• Gathering and processing of experience from existing outsourcing agreements. 
• Market uncovering and choosing of suppliers for participation in market dialogue and subsequently in tenders.  
• Development of scoring metrics and tools. 
• Planning and completion of tendering process. 
• Benchmarking of provided solutions and also price elements, in collaboration with specialized benchmarking supplier.  
• Contract negotiation and development of appendixes. 

The result was that Coop, in less than four weeks, entered into a contract with a new, specialized SAP-operational supplier.
